Gaining hands-on experience in the student's specific field gives them a deeper understanding of their intended profession. Each year we coordinate a one-week unpaid externship during spring break for students interested in learning more about their intended profession. Students are hosted by companies and organizations across the country.
About the Program
This program is held during the week of University of Michigan's spring break. The student is responsible for all travel and living arrangements and expenses. Host organizations are asked to engage the student in a variety of observational and/or hands-on activities to further their understanding of the practice of architecture or urban planning. The program is open to currently enrolled Taubman College students who meet a grade point standard.
We would like to thank the firms and organizations who took time from their busy schedules to host a student.
