| Description | This course provides an overview of basic theory, principles, and skills involved in physical planning. The objective of the course is to provide Master of Urban Planning students—especially those without a design background—with an understanding of urban design and land use planning and the skills, including graphic representation skills, necessary for producing a physical plan. The course will be taught in a design studio format. Students will conduct research and create a physical plan for a project site located in downtown Chicago. |
