Students come from all over the world to study at the Master of Urban Design Program, one of the Program's greatest strengths.
The Program capitalizes on this diversity by asking students to present examples of urbanism from their home countries and to call upon their experiences with urbanism in seminar and studio discussions. In this way, the Program looks beyond North America to draw on examples of urban morphology and culture from Africa, Asia, South Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Europe.
Since 2001, when the Program began, students have matriculated from more than 20 countries:
- Hong Kong
- Saudi Arabia
- South Korea
- United Arab Emirates
- United States
