Judith LongAssociate Professor
Judith Grant Long is Associate Professor of Sport Management and Real Estate, and Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. Her research and teaching interests include sports and tourism infrastructure, mega-events and the host city experience, public-private partnerships for real estate development, and local economic development. Her latest book project, "Olympic Urbanism: Rome to Rio" explores the long-term impacts of building for the Olympic Games. She is Associate Professor of Sport Management at the University of Michigan, Co-Director of the Michigan Center for Sport and Policy. Prior to Michigan, Long was on the faculty of the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and served as the Director of the Master in Urban Planning program.
