Detroit Media Celebrate U-M Detroit 2016 Architecture Venice Biennale

Two Detroit publications, the Crain’s Detroit Business and the Detroit Free Press, have recognized the U-M Taubman College’s award of the 2016 Venice Architectural Biennale. “The Architectural Imagination”, the name of this exhibition, will focus on 12 locations in Detroit and will be curated by Taubman College’s dean, Monica Ponce de Leon. Other Ann Arbor firms and alumni will be on board with this exhibition including V. Mitch McEwen, an assitant professor at Taubman, and Thom Moran, a member of T+E+A+M based in Ann Arbor. U-M will be representing the US at the Venice exhibition on May 28-November 27.
