Home Country: Bangladesh
Language(s) Spoken: Bangla, English
Gender Identity: Male
Racial Identity: Bengali
Favorite food: Biriyani
What are other identities that you would like to share? Muslim
Favorite book/author and why: "Brave of Heart" by Habibul Alam, Bir Protik and "Maa" by Anisul Hoque. I crave a good conversation, and I love connecting, more so with people different from me.
Favorite thing to do when not at TC: Talking to friends & colleagues
Why is diversity, equity, and inclusion important to you?: Our parents’ generation has seen numerous wars and armed conflicts. Our generation has been seeing and will continue to see more intolerance in contrast. That leads me more than ever to believe in forming stronger connections with people. All people.
DEI Contribution/Highlight: I am currently conspiring with a fellow student for a studio layout at the college more conducive to conversations, as well as envisioning ways to make minority student groups in the college better represented through their food and culture. At the very core, I am always keen in just reaching out to fellow colleagues and classmates in whatever form possible, as much as graduate architecture workload permits.
