The Business Services team provides administrative oversight of finance and research at Taubman College. The department serves as a collaborative partner to help students, faculty and staff with financial services including procurement, accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting and research administration pre and post award. The Business Services team also serves to ensure compliance with university and departmental policies and procedures, optimization of business processes and strategic resource allocation.
Earl Bell, MBA

Earl provides strategic and operational leadership for the administrative functions of Taubman College. His portfolio of responsibilities includes oversight of business services, media center, facilities, and information technology. He previously served as the associate director of business operations for MHealthy Health and Wellbeing Services at U-M. Prior to MHealthy, Earl served in numerous capacities within U-M's central financial administration over his 25 year career including Financial Operations, the Treasurer’s Office, the Office of Financial Analysis and Student Life. Earl earned his bachelor of administration in accounting & finance and master of business administration from Eastern Michigan University. He serves as vice chair for the Board of Directors for the University of Michigan Credit Union and is also a board member of CACUBO, the Central Administration of College and University Business Officers.
Megan Xu

Serves on the CFO leadership team and provides oversight of the college’s financial, business and research administration. Her major responsibilities include supervision of Business Services staff, procurement operations and enforcing policies & procedures.She works with the CFO to ensure business operations are aligned with the college’s strategic priorities. The scope of Megan’s expertise includes budgeting, financial analysis and financial reporting. Prior to working at Taubman College, Megan worked in Fleming Business Services (FBS) as a senior business analyst where she provided consulting services to several Vice President Offices. Megan began her career with U-M in 2009 working as a financial specialist at the Department of Radiation Oncology in Michigan Medicine. Megan holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
Caitlin Conway

Caitlin is responsible for providing project account and budgeting support to faculty and administrators at all stages of the grant process, from pre-award submission of proposals to post-award administration. Prior to joining Taubman College, Caitlin worked for the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) where she served as the grants and revenue coordinator. Caitlin holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a master’s degree in public policy.
Becky Dresselhouse-Nauss

Becky serves on the CFO leadership team and helps develop the college-wide budget proposal to the Provost's Office, provides accounting oversight for endowment revenue, and provides data analysis for visual/contextual reporting. She served as the Sr. Budget Analyst for the College of Education, Health, and Human Services on the UM-Dearborn campus for 13 years. Becky has over 22 years of experience with the University of Michigan including Michigan Medicine. She holds a BA in Business Administration and Leadership from Concordia University.
Luoluo Xu

As part of the Business Office team, LuoLuo provides oversight of procurement operations, prepares financial reports and monitors operational expenditures. In her role she maintains departmental internal controls, enforces policies & procedures and performs reconciliations. She approves Concur reports and assists the financial manager with special projects. Luoluo Xu has been with the University of Michigan since 2016. Prior to joining Taubman College Luoluo worked as an accountant for Michigan Medicine CHRT, MHealthy and U-M Shared Services Center. Luoluo holds a master’s degree in accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
Amanda Harris

Amanda processes payments for faculty staff and students including vendor payments, guests and student reimbursements. She also assists with purchasing, accounting and other administrative functions. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. Amanda has been with the university since 2007. Prior to joining Taubman College Amanda worked for U-M Financial Operations Payroll Office as a payroll clerk senior.
