Tuition Payments

The University of Michigan requires payment of tuition, fees, room, and board charges by the end of the first month of each term. The payment schedule for academic year 2021–22 is summarized as follows:

Fall: August 31, 2021
Winter: January 6, 2022

The University of Michigan provides an optional payment plan which allows parents/students to spread payment of anticipate expenses for fall and winter terms over 10 payments. The payment plan is an alternative option to the normal payment schedule. Students and authorized parent/family may enroll in the U-M Payment Plan through Wolverine Access.

If you have questions call the Student Financial Services office at 734-764-7447 or toll free at 877-840-4738.
