As the Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Reetha Raveendran provides leadership and oversight to the Student Affairs Team: Registrar, New Student Orientation, Academic Advising, and Student Engagement. Reetha has almost sixteen years of experience in higher education administration in the United States. Throughout her career she has been a champion of campus life and partnered closely with the division of student affairs. During her tenure she has provided leadership and oversight to areas such as residential life, Greek Life, student activities, leadership development, LGBTQIA and inclusion, civic engagement, athletics, multicultural affairs, career services, health, wellness, and counseling as well as enrollment management. Reetha has a doctorate in leadership studies from Bowling Green State University, an MEd in Higher Education Administration and a BA in Linguistics from the University of Oklahoma.

The Taubman College Registrar and Academic Advisor help current students navigate the College’s academic degree requirements. They advise students from orientation to graduation, coordinate services with central support areas as needed, and support faculty and administrative classroom scheduling.

Kristin McDonough

Kristin McDonough provides academic advising for current and continuing Taubman students on required course selection and programs of study. She plans all student orientations, in addition to supporting student organizations and current student events such as fall welcome activities and commencement. Kristin also assists in managing student records, monitoring academic progress and serves as a key resource for all Taubman students. Prior to joining Taubman College, Kristin worked in the College of Engineering at U-M and the Office for Student Engagement at UM-Dearborn. She has a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in business administration, both from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Sarah provides advising for current Taubman students on course selection, programs of study, degree progression, and strategies for success. She is also the creator and manager of the Building Taubman Together peer mentorship program designed to support the holistic success, growth, and development, of students. Prior to joining the Student Affairs team, Sarah worked with Taubman College Marketing Communications, managing recruitment and admissions marketing efforts for the college. She is a University of Michigan alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, a Master of Management degree with a marketing emphasis from U-M's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and a deep-seated passion for student success.
