Landon Carpenter

Lecturer

Landon Carpenter is an Intermittent Lecturer at University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning and is an architect at The Collaborative in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His work focuses on designing academic, cultural, and residential buildings for higher education institutions, including landscape and campus design. Landon’s practice is informed by history and theories of architectural composition and typology, with a focus on their implications for place, ecology, housing, and education.

Landon has previously taught at Lawrence Technological University’s College of Architecture and Design as an adjunct faculty, and at both Princeton University’s School of Architecture and School of Engineering and Applied Science as an assistant instructor. He previously worked at Stan Allen Architect, MOS Architects, and Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.

Landon received a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan. He is an NCARB certified architect.
