DESCRIPTION:Design has long been a Detroit signature\, and it is becoming a hallmark of the city’s East Side\, where artists\, architects\, curators\, planners\, and entrepreneurs are building a vibrant cultural arts district. Anchored by The Shepherd\, a new arts and culture institution in a refurbished church\, the Little Village district hosts several arts organizations and businesses in a growing number of new and renovated buildings.
