DESCRIPTION:This talk explores how architectural design can humanize technology by integrating ecological\, technological\, and human-centered approaches. By transforming systems like energy cycling\, water management\, and food production into visible\, interactive urban components\, the work aims to foster sustainable relationships.\nDrawing from historical design strategies and AI\, the talk will highlight how geometrical\, architectural\, and environmental elements across scales inspire adaptive reuse\, decarbonization\, and localized resource cycles. AI’s capacity to process complex spatial relationships bridges past and future practices\, transforming design into advocacy and collaborative making. \nThe talk concludes with examples of circular design strategies and ecological urbanism that emphasize resilience\, equity\, and community engagement\, offering a framework for creating thriving\, sustainable urban environments. \nAn exhibition of work from the ARID LOGICS studio “Research by AI Design” workshop will be on view in the M/K space prior to the talk.
