Sustainability & Social Justice Book Club Discussion

October 3, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Themes of sustainability and social justice are central to the University of Michigan Planning program. These topics are exciting and elusive, compelling and in conflict, and essential to the future of good planning and great cities. This evening’s event is dedicated to roundtable book club discussions of the two summer reading books which draw on those themes: Sugrue’s Origins of the Urban Crisis and Jackson’s Prosperity Without Growth. Professor Larsen will offer introductory thoughts and facilitate this important conversation.
