DESCRIPTION:We recognize that entry into graduate study in either planning or architecture is rarely intuitive\, particularly for those without family\, mentors\, or peers in the profession. Throughout the hour\, our goal is to help demystify the process in 3 segments: \n\nApplicant materials\, Tips/Pitfalls in application preparation\, how to address costs.\nBreakout sessions with current students to talk about how they assessed a quality program\, their process on completing their applications\, and how they found their right fit.\nBreakout sessions with faculty to discuss working in their prospective professions\, and discuss their program(s).\n\nThis session is especially focused on first-generation college students and/or students seeking additional guidance on the graduate application process. \nPlease contact Taubman College Admissions at TaubmanCollegeAdmissions@umich.edu with further questions. \nTimes listed are ET.
