Studio Lecture Series - UG3: Jia Gu, SPINAGU and MAK Center for Art and Architecture

Jia Yi Gu will be the guest speaker for the UG3 Lecture.

Jia Yi Gu (b. Shanghai, China) is co-director of Spinagu. She is an architectural designer, curator, and historian whose work is focused on media-based practices and exhibition-making in architecture. She is curator and director of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture. She is a doctoral candidate at UCLA’s Ph.D. in Architecture program and Visiting Faculty at the California College of Arts. Her research is focused on the production of models in postwar architectural practices.
