Jonathan Schwartz

Lecturer in Urban Technology

Jonathan Schwartz is a lecturer at the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. He teaches introductory front-end web development, with an emphasis on data visualization, to students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Urban Technology degree.

Jonathan was an early employee at StockX, where he currently works as a Senior Software Engineer on the Discover, Research, and Catalog Team (“DRC”). He contributes to StockX’s React application, focusing on site performance, core web vitals, and product discoverability. Jonathan also regularly helps A/B test new features, leveraging customer insights and business metrics to improve the overall StockX customer experience.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan and completed the Venture for America fellowship in Detroit, where he is currently based.
