Taubman College Taubman College plays major role in launch of Michigan Journal of Sustainability
The Michigan Journal of Sustainability, an ‘online, open-access periodical designed to make academic sustainability research easier to understand and use,” was recently launched by the Graham Institute and MPublishing. The first issue features contributions from the following Taubman College students, faculty, and alumni (listed in alphabetical order):
- Maria Arquero de Alarcon – Author and Assistant Professor in Architecture and Urban Planning and Design
- David S. Bieri – Author and Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning
- Scott D. Campbell – Author and Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, Coordinator of Doctoral Studies in Urban and Regional Planning
- Laura Cole – Author and Ph.D.’13 (PhD in Architecture and Natural Resources)
- Paul Coseo – Author and Adjunct Lecturer in the Urban and Regional Planning Program
- Dana Kornberg – Editor and PhD candidate in the combined program of Sociology and Urban and Regional Planning
- Larissa Larsen – Author and Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning
- Jennifer Maigret – Author and Assistant Professor of Architecture
- Nicholas B. Rajkovich – Editor-in-chief and PhD candidate in the Urban and Regional Planning Program

The Michigan Journal of Sustainability is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal which publishes timely, innovative, stimulating, and informative articles in the areas of; sustainable freshwater systems, livable communities, and responses to climate variability and change. The content will focus on integrating knowledge from the social sciences, natural sciences, and policy fields and establishing lines of communication among scientists, practitioners, and policymakers which is widely recognized as a significant obstacle to solving sustainability-related problems.
