McCulloch to Give Talk at the Chicago History Museum
Michael McCulloch, Michigan-Mellon Fellow and Lecturer in the Urban Planning program, will be giving a talk on The Modern Worker’s House and the Production of Fordist Culture in 1920s Detroit. By examining the construction of the city’s Fordist Urbanism, he will discuss how Detroit’s worker’s houses, many of which are abandoned in the present, helped to shape the city’s elusive promise of prosperity. He will be lecturing on this topic at the Chicago History Museum on Thursday October 15.
