del Campo and Manninger Invited to Vienna Panel Discussion 

Associate Professor Matias del Campo and Assistant Professor Sandra Manninger will participate in a panel discussion on the future of innovation and infrastructure at the 12th Vienna Congress Com.sult. The panel includes, among others, Oscar Mencer, the head of the Computer Architecture Research Group at the Royal College of London, Ulrike Huemer, Chief Information Officer of the city of Vienna and Dan Schechtman, Philip Tobias Professor of Materials Science at the Technion and Noble Prize laureate for the discovery of the Quasicrystal.

The panel will revolve around global standards at the heart of Europe. Drawing on Vienna’s long tradition as a location for high-profile international conferences, prominent figures will come together to discuss Europe’s key economic challenges and prospects. The Vienna Congress Com·sult represents a network of highly respected leaders and decision makers, and as one of the most renowned international economic congresses, it has become a fixture within the region.

This year´s congress will be held at the Haus der Industrie in Vienna, Austria on the 18th and 19th of January 2016.
