Taubman College Ahlquist Presenting at College Art Association Annual Conference in New York City
Assistant Professor Sean Ahlquist will be presenting at the College Art Association Annual Conference in New York City in a special session titled “Tech Tech: Textile Technologies” on February 15, 2017.
The College Art Association Annual Conference is the largest international gathering of professionals in the visual arts and will take place on February 15 – 18. Ahlquist will join two others in a technological working session on Day 1 presenting a set of diverse textile media investigations that consider the complexities of advanced technology textile construction and design. This panel explores the implications of these strategies on architecture and space, body as site, and textiles as tactile interfaces for new-media explorations.
