Cobbinah, Larsen on Urban Growth, Water Planning as Part of U-M African Presidential Scholars Program

Patrick Cobbinah, a lecturer in the Department of Planning at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, is visiting the University of Michigan as a part of the 2018-2019 African Studies Center University of Michigan African Presidential Scholars Program (UMAPS). Cobbinah will work on his project, “Urban Growth, Neoliberal Governance Failures, and Water Scarcity in Accra,” under the mentorship of Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning Larissa Larsen. Cobbinah, along with the rest of his cohort, will remain in Ann Arbor through February 2019.
