No. 7

Practice Session No. 7 was led by Laurel Consuelo Broughton of Los Angeles based WELCOME PROJECTS. Together with students Broughton created a picnic in the central atrium of the College’s Taubman Wing complete with a giant blanket and pies. Participants and guests experienced the picnic as a “social and spatial alternative to cultures bound by convention and precedent” that occupied the school’s central gathering space.  Practice Session No. 7 took place concurrent with No. 8 led by Andrés Jaque.
