Kent has worked in marketing and communications roles for nearly 30 years, with much of that time in higher education. Prior to joining the team at Taubman College, he served as director of development marketing and communications at Michigan Medicine, and director of communications for academic units at two other tier-one research universities – the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs and Michigan State University College of Law. Possessing a range of expertise in integrated marketing, brand management, print and digital communications, strategic planning, program development, event management, and promotions, Kent brings to the college demonstrated achievement in leading teams and building a best-in-class marketing and communications operation.
