Academic Advising
Bachelor of Science
A faculty advisor is assigned to each student in early Fall. Faculty advisors guide students regarding exploring the discipline of architecture, elective selection and career possibilities. Wolverine Access enables you to view your assigned Faculty Advisor (Students > Student Business > Student Services Center). Faculty members should be contacted through their individual university email addresses and will indicate their weekly time availability for student advising. Students are allowed to change their advisor with permission of the program chair at any time. Students also utilize many of the faculty as informal advisors. In addition, second and third-year students are also great resources of knowledge about courses, campus, etc.

Master of Urban Design
Faculty advisors are faculty members assigned to students to advise them regarding meeting the degree requirements, elective selection, and career possibilities. Faculty members should be contacted through their individual university email addresses and will indicate their weekly time availability for student advising. Advisors have a unique perspective on the program, college and university, as well as the professions and career options open to graduates. Advisor assignments for new students are outlined during the Summer Orientation session. In the event that faculty are not in residence during the Summer Term, the instructor for M.U.D. Studio and the director of post-professional degrees in architecture can advise students. Master of Urban and Regional Planning
Rackham Graduate School works in partnership with faculty and staff in departments and schools across the University to facilitate the academic success of all graduate students. They offer a continuum of services that supports students' academic achievement from early recruitment stages through final placement.
The Urban and Regional Planning program initially assigns each student a faculty advisor. Students are matched with faculty based on areas of interest.
