ARCH 509 – Institution, Inclusion, and Innovation

Description

This course will explore theories and case studies that explore e-orientation of neoliberal urban space (think We Work, Sidewalk Labs) toward an inclusionary and open-source commons. It is designed to support Egalitarian Metropolis conversations, specifically those focused on community-driven and institutional cultural spaces in--but not limited to--Detroit. Case studies will be chosen based on student research and interests.
