Taubman College Bigham Curates Bizarre Bazaar Exhibition at America House in Kiev
Lecturer and former Walter B. Sanders Fellow, Ashley Bigham, curates an exhibition called “Bizarre Bazaar: Commerce and Public Space in Ukraine” in America House, Kiev, Ukraine. The exhibition opens on February 18, 2017.
Bigham’s exhibition is the result of a Spring 2016 Taubman College travel course where she led students around Poland, Ukraine, and Moldova to study the architecture and urban spaces of Eastern Europe. The exhibition focuses on architectural typologies of consumerism – primarily that of the bazaar.
