The Commons

A collaborative learning and gathering space for informal interactions and significant community gatherings, the Commons is a central hub of the college.

Staff and faculty offices and studio spaces located around the perimeter of the Commons make it a natural space for interaction between all members of the Taubman College community.

Part of the newer A. Alfred Taubman wing of our building, the space’s natural lighting and open layout make it ideal for a variety of purposes, including events like Coffee in the Commons and final reviews, study sessions, meetings between students and faculty or alumni mentors, community members connecting between classes, and more.
