The Commons is the heart of Taubman College—a flexible, light-filled space designed for learning, gathering, and connection. Surrounded by faculty and staff offices and studio spaces, it encourages spontaneous interaction among students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors.

Located in the A. Alfred Taubman Wing, the Commons features abundant natural light and an open layout that supports a wide range of activities. From Coffee in the Commons and final reviews to study sessions, mentoring meetings, lectures, conferences, and informal conversations between classes, it is a central hub for college life.
