Capstone Practice Presentation: A Preliminary Community Needs Assessment for the Lower Cass and Brush Park Area.

This semester, our team worked in conjunction with JFM Consulting, Data Driven Detroit (D3), the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) to complete a preliminary community needs assessment of the Lower Cass, Brush Park, and Grand Circus areas in advance of the opening of the Little Caesars Arena and District Detroit development. We will present findings from our surveys of stakeholders and site conditions/parcels, demographic and spatial analysis. Our work will contribute to a final community needs assessment report that will be delivered to the DDA and Detroit city government in summer 2017.
