Hines Urban Design Competition, Information Meeting

November 8, 2011 at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The ULI has announced the annual Hines Urban Design Competition. Interdisciplinary student teams compete in an intense two-week period in late January for a top prize of $50,000 to solve a significant urban design problem in an American city. This is an opportunity to learn a great deal about tackling a real urban design and real estate development problem with teammates from a range of backgrounds. We strongly encourage everyone to participate. Last year Taubman College had two teams made to the finalists, with one winning the grand price!
For more details, see www.udcompetition.org

The first job is to form teams. Team applications are due at ULI December 5.

We invite you to one of two information meetings on this competition. You will hear from students and faculty who have participated and won in the past. If you don’t have a team yet, it will also be a great opprotunity for team building.
The two meetings will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 8
  • Friday, Nov. 11
