Student-Alumni Architecture and Planning Luncheon

September 25, 2009 at 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Taubman College is sponsoring a luncheon on Friday, Sept. 25 for students to connect with U-M architecture and urban planning alumni.

During the lunch and subsequent panel discussion, members of Taubman College’s Alumni Society Board of Governors will shed light on the current economy’s impact for planners and architects. Is this, as some have theorized, more than a recession but a cultural reset and if so, how will this impact building and planning practice? What new paradigms might we anticipate?

Noon: Lunch in courtyard, weather permitting – otherwise, it will take place in the West Review Space, Third Floor.

1:30 PM: Alumni panel in West Review, Third Floor. Students who register for the panel discussion will also be included in the lunch with the alumni board.

Limited to the first 50 students who sign up. To sign up, please contact Janice Harvey, jrharvey@umich.edu
