When How Eclipses What: Techniques as Content Surrogates

Digital Discourse was formed to allow students and faculty members to communicate about the numerous difficulties associated with digital media. We are open to exploring all related aspects of the digital realm, and our focus is to “identify, contextualize, and respond.” The topics of discussion are intentionally broad and intended to create a variety of interesting conversations. Our first conversation was led by Glenn Wilcox and focused on the representational advantages and disadvantages of emphasizing digital processes when discussing our own work.
