Director of the Detroit Community Design Center and instructor of architecture and urban planning, Dr. Craig L. Wilkins, has been featured on the Detroit-based website and e-zine Model D. The article on Wilkins examines the relationship between his career in architecture and interest in hip-hop music and culture. In terms of sustainability, aesthetics, and transforming the “dispensable” into the “indispensable,” Wilkins reasons that hip-hop and architecture are related.
