Norman Published In Prefab Housing and the Future of Building: Product to Process

Associate Professor of Practice in Urban and Regional Planning Marc Norman has contributed a chapter in the recently published book Prefab Housing and the Future of Building: Product to Process. Entitled “Affordability of Industrialized House Building,” Norman’s chapter discusses new ways of thinking about industrialized house building that could help achieve expanded goals in addition to lower cost and embed itself solidly in the affordable housing ecosystem.

The book includes case studies from Japan, Sweden, UK, Germany, Austria and the USA and provides an international history of prefab and modular housing as well as critically examining present innovations and future scenarios. It can be purchased at https://www.lundhumphries.com/products/78153
