Cambodian Embassy

Climate change has accelerated the water cycle on a global scale. In turn, this will cause both Iceland and Cambodia to utilize their land and resources differently, especially the resource of rivers. Along with geographic changes, human activities that depend on river systems are predicted to change greatly in 50 years or less. The two countries may be affected differently; however, both must find means to readjust. This embassy within a small park in Reykjavik will be a climate-conscious space and actively work to mitigate GHG emissions through the water recycling systems while also considering the current and future cultural, political, societal, and geographical differences between Iceland and Cambodia.
