Urban Planning Ph.D. careers beyond academia: From local governments to the UNHCR
March 29 at 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
This two-part event focuses on URP Ph.D. alumni who have gone on to non-academic career paths. In Panel 1, alumni will offer 8-minute talks about their career paths and current work, ranging from leadership in local governments to working for the United Nations. Panel 2 will ask alumni to reflect on how their doctoral training transferred to a non-academic career path and to offer advice on finding and thriving in non-academic jobs.
