Assistant Professor Claire Zimmerman presents work on James Stirling’s “Endless Images” at Tate
Assistant Professor Claire Zimmerman will present on the topic of, “Stirling’s Endless Images,” at the symposium, “Rethinking James Stirling,” at Tate Britain in London, June 11, 2011. The conference offers new perspectives on architect James Stirling, through recent historical research and critical assessment. Architects, architectural historians and writers whose interests in Stirling lie outside the dominant discussions of his work, will consider his interest in re-inventing the European city, the possibilities of a reinvigorated modernism, and architecture’s relationship to technology.
