Professors June Thomas and Robert Fishman Contributed to New Book on Planning

Centennial Professor of Urban and Regional Planning June Manning Thomas and Professor of Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning Robert Fishman have chapters in the recently released paperback book, edited by B. Sanyal, L. Vale, and C. Rosan, Planning Ideas that Matter: Livability, Territoriality, Governance, and Reflective Practice. Cambridge, Mass.: MIT Press, 2012.

One comment on the back cover, written by John Friedmann, one of the foremost planning scholars in N. America, says in part ” . . .Written by senior academic practitioners with impeccable credentials, Planning Ideas that Matter will become obligatory reading for generations of graduate students.” The back cover also contains favorable comments by planning scholars John Forester and Jim Throgmorton.
