Professor Dewar interviewed on NPR’s All Things Considered

Margaret Dewar, Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, was recently interviewed by National Public Radio for her thoughts on the tree-planting effort called Hantz Woodlands. Hantz Woodlands is an effort by entrepreneur and Detroiter John Hantz, owner of Hantz Farms, to plant at least 15,000 trees on about 140 acres. While controversial, the goal of the project is to convert abandoned properties into fields for new agricultural production.
