Thing Thing, a Detroit-based design collective founded by Master of Architecture students Simon Anton, Rachel Mulder, Eiji Jimbo and Assistant Professor of Architecture Thom Moran, uses industrial technology and recycled materials to create new products.
Their business has won a spot in the Creative Ventures Residency Program (CVRP), a highly competitive, six-month residency program for design-based businesses in Detroit.
Accepted businesses (aka “ventures”) receive access to mentors, subject matter experts and a dedicated DC3 entrepreneur-in-residence to guide them through monthly milestones working towards the shared goals of increasing their revenues and client base throughout the tenure of the program.
