Dean Monica Ponce de Leon and FABLab Director Wes McGee scheduled to speak at “Digital Provocations” symposium 

Taubman College of Architecture Dean Monica Ponce de Leon, and FabLab Director and Lecturer Wes McGee are scheduled to speak at the “Digital Provocations” symposium, hosted by the School of Architecture at the University of Minnesota College of Design. This symposium, which will take place on April 12-14, 2012, will explore innovative responses by both practice and academia to the question of how digital technology can be utilized in the processes of design, collaboration, fabrication and construction. Dean Ponce de Leon will be giving a keynote lecture on “Digital Didactics” and McGee will be participating in a panel discussion on materiality and fabrication.

The symposium will take place at University of Minnesota School of Architecture, in Rapson Hall on UMN’s East Bank campus in Minneapolis, and is made possible by the Cass Gilbert Fund.
