Taubman College co-sponsors Workshop to test the “Detroit Future City” planning framework
Taubman College is co-sponsoring a workshop titled, “Detroit Matters” along with the University of Detroit Mercy and Ryerson University to be held June 9-13 at the University of Detroit Mercy.
The workshop will include city tours and collaboration with local experts, community members, as well as faculty and students from all three schools. It will also consist of an intensive charrette-type urban design workshop that will test the “Detroit Future City” planning framework on a number of urban sites.
Taubman College faculty members involved in the workshop are Kathy Velikov, Claudia Wigger, and Lars Graebner. Participation is free and space is limited. Taubman College students interested in participating should contact Kathy Velikov.
