Why did you choose Taubman College as the right program for you?
I chose Urban Design at Taubman College because of its insightful faculty and professors. Taubman College offers exciting opportunities for asking new questions about Urban Design.
What is special or excites you about the Taubman community?
The Taubman Community (Present and Alumni) is always looking out for each other! It is special to be part of this community because of the community impact it has had.

Studio culture at Taubman is very varied; it is structured yet broad enough to explore all interests. The culture is always welcoming for collaboration.
Describe your experience with faculty and professional staff during your time at Taubman?
The faculty and Staff at Taubman are some of the best! I chose Taubman because of the varied interests and perspectives they bring. The faculty has always pushed me to be self-critical and allowed me to develop well-rounded approaches to urban design.
How has Taubman’s career and professional development support prepared you for a successful career in your chosen field?
The Career and Professional Development Support are a boon to Taubman College! They are extremely supportive and engaging to ensure I am confident during my Internship and Job Search! They are very insightful about small detailed steps to larger career development, which I appreciate.
What benefits have you experienced being part of the University of Michigan?
I have had a chance to work with the Ford School of Public Policy and I can broaden my interests beyond Urban Design. I enjoy the University of Michigan because of its welcoming collaborations.
What do you like most about being part of the Ann Arbor community?
I enjoy the diverse thoughts, research interests, and voices in Ann Arbor. For me, an international student from Bangalore, India, Ann Arbor feels like home now!
What advice would you give prospective students as they consider Taubman College?
Taubman College offers multiple programs and opportunities that encompass all fields of study. I would suggest prospective students take advantage of all of them!
What are your plans after graduation?
Taubman has allowed me to explore any number of paths after graduation. I hope to take my academic interest in Post Colonial and Racially Just Urbanisms to the professional field!
