This course introduces students to the ways in which architects are trained, the questions they ask, and the things they make. DesignFoundations will expose students to the multifaceted thinking designers need in the development of a creative process. Through a variety of readings and writings, weekly lectures, seminar-style discussions,and exercises, students will engage in a means to a critical consciousness of their own evolving knowledge and ability.
