ARCH503, Reading: Topics in Architectural Theory, examines a significant text within the history of architecture’s theory, selected for its canonic value and potential for revisited contemporary relevance. Participants in this seminar closely examine the selected text in a chapter-by-chapter reading with additional materials used to contextualize, write weekly reading responses, contribute to collective discussions regarding issues raised by the text from historical and contemporary perspectives, and, as a final paper, write a “late” book review
