This course implements advanced material, fabrication, and computation skills in the production of material system prototypes that center on cultural and site inputs, construction system realities, and environmental concerns.
Collaborating with University of Michigan outpost campus, this course works closely with particular sites to assess material design opportunities and consequences. Students in the course will produce material studies, scaled prototypes, and mock-ups launched from specific design constraints and prompts.
