This course equips students to understand the basic systems that shape and define cities: natural systems, built systems, and human systems. Students will understand urban systems as a framework and platform for engaging the field of urban technology, and will develop a working knowledge of at least three key systems, including how they shape and are shaped by the city, and with what consequences.
