Deborah Moelis will be coming to Taubman College to articulate how the integration of Passive House concepts are applicable to building design. She was the design principal of Sendero Verde, a 709-unit residential building in New York City, which opened in 2024 and is now the largest fully affordable Passive House building in the world. She has lectured extensively on the principles of Passive House design previously, including presentations at North American Passive House Network, AIANY, Greenbuild DC, nZeb in Wexford, Ireland and the International Passivhaus Institute conference in Vienna, Austria. We are lucky to have her, and as a Michigan alumni, we can’t wait to have her back.
