The conical aluminum structure created by Associate Professor of Architecture Karl Daubmann was featured Oct. 28, 2009 in a Concentrate Media titled, “Shadow Pavilion shows off U-M building material innovation.” His installation, funded through the Taubman College Research Through Making grant, is on display in the Matthaei Botanical Gardens.
