Trandafirescu HOT AIR installation tie-in with fall of Berlin Wall discussed on WDET public radio

Assistant professor Anca Trandafirescu’s HOT AIR exhibit, which commemorates the fall of communism in Romania, was discussed Nov. 11, 2009 on WDET public radio’s talk show, Detroit Today. Trandafirescu spoke about the implications of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, and its connection with the overthrow of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu.

Joining her was UM professor of political science, sociology and Germanic languages Andrei Markovits.
