Assistant Professor Suzanne Lanyi Charles presented her paper titled “Suburban gentrification: the spatial and temporal pattern of residential redevelopment in the inner-ring suburbs of Chicago, USA” at the Research Committee 21 (RC21) Conference on Sociology of Urban and Regional Development of the International Sociological Association in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on July 8, 2011.
Research Committee 21 (RC21) on Sociology of Urban and Regional Development of the International Sociological Association was established in 1970 to promote theory and research in the sociology of urban and regional development and create an international community of scholars who will advance the field.
